Just curious
I regularly get complimented on my healing, and I was wondering if it was my skill set or just how I use them...
My build is:
1. Aegis
2. Word of Healing {E}
3. Dwayna's Kiss
4. Shielding Hands
5. Healing Breeze
6. Healing Touch
7. Remove Hex
8. A reusable resurrect spell
I have 39 energy and a staff that gives me 20% longer enchantments
I get a level 15 healing cast, a level 14 protection cast, and a level 9 divine favour bonus (enough divine rank to use a weapon).
If you're wondering, my usual combo for myself (as I usually get attacked) is Shielding Hands + Healing Breeze. But when I'm not attacked I have no trouble keeping other people alive even if they have the whole of the enemy team on them.
Or half the team on one person, the other half on another -- I still rarely lose one. It's only when the entire enemy team (spikers and energy stealing mesmers included) are on me that I get defeated... I also make it a point not to run after people. I can't do my job if you're on the other side of the arena and I'm not about to leave these other two who will need a bit of healing soon.
Anyways, thoughts/suggestions? I play in competition arenas mostly nowadays, by the way. It's rediculous to get a decent party for Tombs...

i say get a secondary for some energy management. you have, well, no energy management so im not sure how long you would last.
also, in tombs everything is very specialized, you have *the prot* and *the heal* and they dont mix really. (only exception would be the sustained aegis but im no fan of that).
so to make your build better, id say drop all your prot skills, put 16 into healing, 10 into inspiration, 9 into divine, pick up channeling, inspired hex, heal other, healing seed, (lose breeze btw), giving you one extra slot... you dont need a res as a monk, and definetly not a hard res. so id lose that too.. maybe add drain enchant. (i would use heal party but not everyone likes it) idk your choice on that last one, but woh is definetly a good elite to use as a heal monk.
you should go with all tatoos, possibly a non tatoo chest piece (most attacks land there, personally i never saw a difference. w/e), and insightful +5 on your staff. alternatively theres a sword somwhere which is +5 energy, so add 20% enchanting to that and grab a +12 healing ankh and it gets even better. this usually gives around 50 energy, +/- i cant remember if its with morale or not...
as to startegy? um... dont do anything stupid. dont waste a heal other, dont top off peoples hp, remmeber if someones dying heal other/woh THEN seed, dont seed people only to have them die seconds later, and make sure you run all over the map when they chase you.
enjoy. if your looking for a spot in a tombs group, message le big mac (im online so much its not even funny) and i can try and get your feet wet in tombs. if im not online, well, no group for you lol. (oh and i cant guarantee a spot... alot of the times my group fills pretty fast and if its full one day, just message again believe me you wont be more annoying than some people i know)
